Engineering Background
A foundation in Electronic Engineering Technology led to over two decades of software engineering across healthcare, financial, and enterprise domains. That engineering discipline — systems thinking, precision, and understanding how things fail — informs every architecture decision made today.
Currently at Microsoft, focused on enterprise-scale web applications, cloud-native platforms on Azure, DevOps automation, and AI-integrated developer tooling. The work spans the full stack: from API design and distributed systems to security, observability, and reliability engineering.
What Drives Me
The challenge of designing systems that are reliable at scale — where distributed complexity, security constraints, and real-world failure modes demand both rigor and creativity. I gravitate toward problems that sit at the intersection of architecture and engineering craft.
Outside of production systems, I apply the same discipline to AI agents, observability tooling, post-quantum cryptography research, and open source engineering — staying current with the frontier, not just the mainstream.
